This week we received the latest newsletter from the manufacturer of our water filters. They report excellent sales despite the current economy. It would appear that consumers are making the choice to stop buying expensive bottled water and make the cheaper choice to install home water filtration systems. This is good news for the environment - Less plastic, fantastic!!

Our range of water-filters were amongst the ones featured on Dr Oz recently so check them out and see if there is one that suits your needs. www.itsecotime.com/water-filters

I am so happy to read current consumer reports which show the trend for buying bottled water is shifting. Of course some of this shift can be attributed to the economy as bottled  water is expensive.  Hopefully though some people are making this choice because filtered tap water is a greener option. Quality home water filters are a more economical and convenient solution to ensuring your family enjoys healthy water. Remember they key points I made in an earlier blog:

• There are no government standards that require bottled water to be purer or safer than tap water.

• We have to recycle the plastic bottles at enormous expense

• Bottled water is more expensive than tap water

Take a look at our quality range of water filters and water saving shower heads, over time these will prove to be a very cost effective choice.

Advertising Companies spend billions of $ trying to convince us that bottled water comes from naturally occurring sources. The truth is that bottled water is very often tap water in a bottle!

Here are three major points to consider when making your choice:

• There are no government standards that require bottled water to be purer or safer than tap water.

• We have to recycle the plastic bottles at enormous expense

• Bottled water is more expensive than tap water

Quality home water treatment options are a far more economical and convenient method of providing truly healthy water for all your family needs.
